Tar Heel Gymnastics Camps, held at the University of North Carolina, offer high-performance training for gymnasts ages 8-18. These camps focus on skill development in all four events, trampoline & tumbling track work, and dance rotations. Athletes are grouped based on their competitive level, ensuring tailored instruction and progression. In addition to technical training, campers participate in discussions about mental preparation, goal setting, and sports psychology. The camps feature coaching from UNC Gymnastics staff and current team members, providing a unique opportunity for campers to engage with collegiate athletes. The camps take place at the Derek P. Galvin Gymnastics Training Facility at UNC's Fetzer Hall.
