Camps
The North Carolina Zoo offers a variety of educational summer camps designed for children from Pre-K through rising 10th graders. These themed camps allow campers to explore wildlife, conservation, and the zoo through hands-on activities. In addition to summer camps, they also provide seasonal day camps during the winter and spring. For older students, there are specialized camps like Wild Animal Science Camps and Veterinary Science Camps, where campers get a unique, behind-the-scenes look at wildlife conservation and veterinary care. These camps provide an exciting opportunity for students to learn and engage with animals and science in a fun, educational setting.
