Garden Story Time

Embark on a delightful outdoor adventure with your little ones at our Garden Story Time! Join us at the JC Raulston Arboretum for a morning filled with exploration, imagination, and garden-themed fun. Perfect for families with preschool children, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and foster a love of reading.

Your journey begins with a guided stroll through the Arboretum's enchanting gardens, where our Children's Program staff and volunteers will reveal the wonders blooming around you. Then, settle in for captivating story time featuring children's books with a delightful garden twist. To top it off, your child will create their very own garden-themed craft to take home as a treasured memento.

Garden Story Time is held on select Fridays: May 2nd, May 16th, and May 30th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The cost is $5 per child, and parents/caregivers participate alongside their children. Remember to dress for the weather and bring a blanket for comfortable story time seating! In case of rain, activities will be moved to a sheltered location.
